I'm Alli. I'm 15. And I'm posting a wishlist that is just that... wishes. I don't expect anything. But I would love you so much if you had anything that you could send me.
I really like writing thank you notes, too... I like fancy writings and such. So even if you do something over the internet, let me know your address and I'll send you a handwritten thank you. (:
In sort of order of want, sort of not:
1. Hippie Clothing
This includes real things from the late sixties (bless you if you have any of this you want to send me), as well as throwback items now. I have a few dresses and a few tiedye/paisley/etc. shirts... I unfortunately lost my black and tiedye flowy skirt this year, and it was my favorite thing in the whole world. ): Dress sizes... well... 3? Sort of? Or small if it isn't? But send me any size. Shirts small or medium are best, go medium if you have options. I can always take it in. (:
2. Broadway CDs
Full CDs, but zips are wonderful. Send zips to allisonginsburg at gmail dot com. I have seen so many musicals, but in the great computer crash of 08 lost most of what I had. I have: Wicked, RENT, Aida, Next to Normal, Spring Awakening, Company, Chorus Line, Jacques Brel, Miss Saigon, Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Hair ... besides that, I'll take anything. Specifically looking for Ragtime, title of show, older musicals (i.e. showboat, kiss me kate, etc.). NOTHING is unwelcome here.
3. Judaism Stuff
I'm Jewish, and my mother isn't quite as into it as I have become lately. I would love love love some pretty star of david or especially Chai jewelery, as well as any books, or music, or anything to do with Judaism really. I love to learn more. I don't want links though, I'd like material stuff. Also, if you are in BBYO and know what that is and have any random chapter merchandise, that'd be great. That's Jewish.
Scripts of musicals, plays. Obscure is fine. The more I can read, the better.
5. Sheet Music
Pipe Dream? If anyone had Nerina Pallot's Damascus. Besides that, anything Ben Folds, or musical theatre, or anything you really want to send me. Obsucre pop, mainstream pop, jazz, classical. PDFs to email or books to address. I love both.
Most importantly, Celestial Seasonings' Bengal Tea. For whatever reason, my grocery store stopped carrying this particular kind ):. But any tea. Not looseleaf, I don't know how to use it. Thanks so much for this, it's my savior in bad times.
7. Things That Smell Like Pink
If you own this, you know what I mean. Pink smells like lilac, or sugar, or grapefruit. It just smells... pink.
8. Pretty Jewelery
So like, earrings. Ornate ones. Or dangling ones. Or gold hoops, I could really use those. Or just pretty pendants or bracelets or whatever you have lying around.
Well, not just dice, dice merchandise. If you have any dice clothing or jewelery or paintings or anything like that. But if you want to send me a random die... I collect them, I guess? I would honestly love anything dice or dice related, which brings me to....
10. Read Luke Rhinehart's The Dice Man or something obscure and inspring
And if you do, tell me what you think. I think it's inspiring and an interesting way to live and while it's messed up, I still love it. Read The Book of the Die after this. It could change your life. I'd love to see it with more exposure.
Thank you so much. You have no idea what this means to me.
I won't be putting up address due to age, but please don't let that deter you. Email, once again, is allisonginsburg at gmail dot com
Thank you so much. Spend your holiday season well, and always choose to live life like you're loved and in love and alive. (:
A thanks to the mods to. Love you all. <3
